Use these tips to prepare a workout routine at home:
Choose a location. Find a place in your home and separate it from workouts. Do not choose the cellar or garage automatically. If it's not an attractive space, you won't want to spend much time there.
Find an area close to where you sit most. For example, an empty corner or spot near the TV could be perfect. It may inspire you to see where your workout is to get up and move. You don't want to be out of sight, out of mind.

Add some amenities. Whatever your favorite way to entertain yourself, get it ready to go, then save it to enjoy it during your workout.
Create a playlist with the songs you love. Download an audiobook that excites you. Record an entire season of a great show on DVR or add it to the broadcast queue.
Use the web. Do you need a coach? Check out the web for online fitness classes. You can find yoga, dance, strength training and more on your iPad or computer.
